Akko, Dan


The son of Yahya and Sarah. Dan was born in Israel, in Moshav Eshtaol on July 23, 1951. He attended elementary school in Ness Ziona and Amal Rehovot high school, specializing in subjects. After graduating, he volunteered for a few months in the kibbutz in the north. Dan was a wonderful son, very devoted to his family, shared with him all his deliberations and decisions. He was very popular in the company, among friends and neighbors, was very active in the neighborhood and his help to the elderly and adults was of paramount importance to him. On August 19, 1969, Dan enlisted in regular service in the Border Police. On the 18th of Adar I 5702 (February 18, 1970), a mandatory policeman was killed in a road accident in the Jerusalem area during an operational activity. Eighteen years old in his fall. He was buried in the military section of the Nes Tziona cemetery.
