Akis, Shaul

Shaul, son of Batya and Yitzhak Akis, was born on July 18, 1925 in Aleppo, Syria. He studied at the elementary and high school of “Kol Israel Haverim” and in 1943 immigrated to Israel. He married and worked in an industrial factory. From the beginning of the War of Independence, Shaul served in guarding the borders of Tel Aviv, and he fell on the 3rd of Shvat 5708 (14.1.1948). He was brought to rest in the Nachlat Yitzhak military cemetery.
