Agmon, Gil
Son of Pinchas (Kozrowitzki) and Dalia nee Rosenberg. He was born on August 11, 1954 in Tel Aviv. He studied at the AD Gordon High School and at the Shalva Gymnasium in Tel Aviv. Gil was a loyal and devoted son to his parents. As an excellent athlete, he participated in light athletics competitions. Was a member of the sailing club. He loved swimming, diving, rowing and rowing. He had a poetic soul, wrote poems and drew very handsome paintings. Gil worked as a hobby in assembling paper and plastic ship models. Prior to his enlistment, he studied for two years at the Air Force Technical School in Haifa and was certified as a jet engineer. Gil enlisted in the IDF in mid-May 1972 and was placed as a jet fighter mechanic at a remote base of the Israel Air Force on July 23, 1973. On July 23, 1973, Corporal Gil fell in the army cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. In a letter of condolence to the family, his commander wrote: “Your son served in our unit for about a year as an aircraft technician and I would like to praise the way he performed his duty and dedication to work throughout his service in the unit.” Gil expressed his desire to learn and progress, .
