Agai, Shlomo


Ben Masuda and David. Was born on March 18, 1957, in Be’er Sheva to a family that immigrated to Israel from Morocco in 1949. He studied in an elementary school in Be’er Sheva, He worked in plumbing at the Herut factory in Be’er Sheva and supported his widowed mother, who had five children and her ability to work was limited, and Shlomo volunteered to serve in the IDF. He took part in a pre-military course of the IAF, studied electrical engineering, and was later appointed as a searchlight and regimental officer in the Artillery Corps. For two and a half years he had fulfilled his duties to the satisfaction of his commanders. Shlomo fell during his service on the 18th of Tevet 5708 (18.1.1980), and was put to rest in the military cemetery in Be’er Sheva. He was 23 years old.
