Agaghan, Jacob

Son of Nissan and Naima. He was born in Baghdad, Iraq, on April 5, 1933. He attended a religious school, and with dedication and sacrifice he supported his family and he took care of his family’s immigration to Israel in 1950. He was a construction worker and a breadwinner of the family, Was killed in October 1951 and fell in the course of his duties on 4 Adar 5713 (February 19, 1953.) He was laid to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
