Advi, Shalom

Son of Yosef and Simcha. He was born on April 10, 1945 in Yemen. Brother to Ruthi, Meirav, Avinoam, Avigail, Hanoch, Michal and Avraham. When he was four years old, the family immigrated to Israel – in 1949 Shalom completed his studies at an elementary school in Moshav Tnuvot and then continued his high school studies at the “Einot” agricultural school until the eleventh grade. When he reached the age of conscription, in November 1964, he enlisted in the IDF and volunteered for the paratroopers. Died of illness on the 16th of Av 5766 (16.8.1966) and was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Moshav Tnuvot in the Sharon.
