Adir (Adri), Liran

Ben Rachel and David. Liran was born in Netanya on 25.5.1983. A second child in the family, a brother of Ohad and Ortal. Liran lived with his wife Salit in the village of Azuz, located in the Negev, on the Egyptian border, and in June 2014 rocket fire from the Gaza Strip to Israel increased, and as a result she left Israel launched Operation Tzuk Eitan against Hamas in the Gaza Strip, which began on 8 July 2014 with aerial bombardments, and nine days later, a ground incursion of military units into the Gaza Strip began to deal with the locations of the rocket fire and terrorist tunnels. At the beginning of the ground operation, Liran was drafted into reserve duty and fell in combat during Operation Tzuk Eitan on July 31, 2014. Capt. Liran was thirty-one years old when he fell. He was laid to rest at the Netanya military cemetery. Survived by a wife, parents, brother, and sister.
