Adi, Abraham


White son and miracles. Avraham was born in Israel on the 23rd of Adar II, 1951 (2.4.1951). He studied at the Magen David School for two years and continued at the Alliance school for six years, but left school due to his father’s death, and Avraham volunteered for the Border Police on 13 November 1968. He completed basic training and was assigned to the ” Until 1969. In March 1969, he moved to Company XI, where he served as a combat soldier, and Avraham, who grew up without a father, joined the Border Police without consulting his mother. Basic training infuriated him, because he loved the army very much, and although he knew he could be released because of the family situation, he did not think in that direction. He loved his comrades-in-arms, and his commanders liked and admired him. On April 26, 1970, Abraham was killed in a road accident on the Be’er Sheva-Arad road, in the turn of the commando unit in which he was on the 38th kilometer on the road. The other four policemen were injured. Avraham was nineteen years old when he fell. He was buried in the Jerusalem cemetery. Avraham’s mother wrote a book in his memory, and also donated to his memory a curtain for the Ark in the synagogue in Ramle.
