Abutbul, Shimon

Son of Rachel and Yochai. Was born on 25.2.1965 in Akko. He began his studies at the Ben-Zvi elementary school and continued at the Rose School in Acre. He then went to study at the youth group on Kibbutz Dan and completed his studies at Kfar Galim Youth Village. Shimon was conscripted into the IDF in September 1982 and assigned to serve in the Border Guard. On February 7, 1983, Shimon was killed and he was buried in the military cemetery in Nahariya, and left behind his parents and five brothers and sisters.
