Abutbul, Makhlouf

Son of Mordechai and Elya. He was born in 1944. He immigrated to Israel in 1962. He worked in a building in 1963. In October 1963 he was drafted into the IDF but did not serve for three months because he was the only son of his mother. During the Six-Day War he served as a reservist in the reserves. He was faithful to his job and adhered to his mission. On the second day of the battles, he was 27 Iyar 5727 (6.6.1967), fell in battle in the Dotan Valley in Samaria. He was buried at the military cemetery in Afula and was then transferred to eternal rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
