Abu Salha, from Zeid
Son of Tamima and me. He was born in the Druze village of Yirka on 28 April 1944. He attended elementary school in his village. On 30 April 1968, he joined the border police in Jerusalem, where he served for two years and moved to the Hebron Border Police for seven years, where he moved to the Border Police in the north, where he served until his fall. During his service, he married Samah and established a family of eight children: three boys and five girls. He was a man of society, loved them all and everyone loved him, a smiling man who loved to help others. His hobby was a hunter. On February 7, 1982, a First Sergeant from Zeid was killed while carrying out his duties. While he was cleaning his weapon, a bullet was fired from his gun and hit his head. The doctors at Rambam Hospital in Haifa died at the age of 30. He was laid to rest in the cemetery in the village of Yirka, leaving a wife and eight children.
