Abu Salah, Salman

Son of Saleh and Salima. Born in 1950 in the village of Ein al-Asad. After his mother had grown up, as young as seven, his old father had educated him and did his best to make his son Simcha. He attended elementary school in the village where he was born and at the Rama High School. In both of them he succeeded in his studies but in high school he studied only two classes and then retired from his studies for economic reasons. During his studies he was a member of the Scouts movement. He took his first steps in his work life in Kfar Giladi and a year later started working as a tractor operator for transporting loads from the Kfar Giladi quarry. He worked in this work until the date of his recruitment. He joined the IDF in May 1968. He was also fond of his comrades in the army and was also popular with his commanders, and on October 10, 1969, he fell on the Lebanese border during a clash with a terrorist squad. .
