Muhammad-Salih, son of Najiba and Salah Abu-Rukhn, was born on 1 November 1931 in the Druze village of Isfiya on Mount Carmel. During the War of Independence he served in the special minority unit for the Druze. He fell in battle on October 29, 1948, and the next day he was buried on the battlefield. On November 30, 1954, he was laid to rest in the Druze military cemetery in the village of Isfiya.
