Son of Ya’ish and Masuda. He was born in 1949 in Agadir, Morocco, and immigrated with his family to Israel in 1963. The family settled in Kiryat Gat and Yosef completed his studies at the Massuah Elementary School, where he went to work to support his parents and help them support the family.
