Son of Hanna and Jamal. Kamel was born in the village of Julis on January 6, 1951. He grew up and was educated in the village, the son of a family of ten children. At the age of five, Kamel entered kindergarten, and after that he completed eight years of elementary school in Julis. Until the time of his induction he worked in odd jobs. Kamel was a devoted and loyal son and helped his family. According to his parents he was a sociable person and participated in every party of all sectors, regardless of race or belonging. He loved the subject of the hunter, as well as soccer and weightlifting. On May 16, 1972, Kamel enlisted in the Border Police. He was a talented fighter in basic training, underwent a course for squad commanders and in November he went to a squad commanders’ course. Kamel saw the service as a first-rate challenge, was diligent and talented and advanced on the ladder of roles. During his service he received the service signal from the Border Police commander, the operational service signal from his direct commander and the Yom Kippur War, in which he took an active part.In September 1973, Kamel moved to serve on the Lebanese border as an ambush commander, On the way back, he was killed when the vehicle overturned, and Kamal was twenty-three years old when he died, and he was laid to rest in the Jolis cemetery. .
