Abu Hamad, Imad
Son of Amaria and Joseph. Imad was born on 18 July 1961 in Daliyat al-Carmel. He grew up in a family that gave him warmth and a lot of love. Amad began his studies at the elementary school in his village. After graduating with great success, he completed his high school studies in the name of Kiftan Halabi, completed successfully and received his matriculation certificate, and joined the paratroopers on May 9, 1979. After graduating from the IDF on May 8, 1982, Imad went to Tel Hai College to study engineering, completed his studies and received a practical degree. Together with his ambition to move forward in life, Imad is keen to foster excellent corporate relations. Friends often visited him and he loved to help others and his family. Imad had a gentle soul, loved music and played another violin. He also loved sports and was particularly interested in soccer. After completing his studies, Imad joined the Israel Prison Service and worked in the security department at the Haifa port. Where he continued to serve in the Border Police South as a combat soldier in Facility 212. His commanders and friends frequently tell of his loyalty, his contribution, his volunteering and his devotion to his missions. During this period, Imad became engaged to a young wife from the village named Hasiba and they were about to get married and raise a family. On May 22, 1988, a policeman was killed during his service. He was twenty-seven when he fell. He was laid to rest in the cemetery in Isfiya in a funeral with a Border Police guard and thousands of others who followed his coffin, and his family, his family and friends, expected to see Imad’s progress in his work as well as in his civilian life. It was in his youth before he married his wife and before he had fulfilled all his ambitions.
