Abergel, Jacob

Son of Susan and Armand. He was born on the 29th of Shevat 5767 (29.1.1967) in Tel Aviv. He studied at the Chabad Elementary School in Tel Kabir in Tel Aviv and completed his studies at the Maaleh Junior High School in Tel Aviv, where he worked as a mechanic in a private garage and in the Dan garage. Jacob showed a sense of responsibility and a desire to help the family. He used to give his father great help in his work, and as a result the connection between them was strong and special. Yaakov was drafted into the IDF at the beginning of November 1984. After completing basic training, and after being trained as a warehouse clerk, he was placed as a salesman, and during his service he died from his father, who died on the day of his death. In the disaster, the fire that broke out in the soldiers’ quarters in his unit and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Holon left a mother, three brothers – Shimon, Yossi and Itzik, and two sisters – Sonia and Kochba
