Abbas (Abid), Ghazi
The son of Najib and Juhara. Gazi was born on August 13, 1962. He grew up in the Galilee village of Jat and later in Yarka, where he studied at the Druze high school “Achva”. Gazi joined the IDF in November 1980 and served as a combat medic, during which he was highly respected and discharged with the rank of sergeant.In 1984, Gazi enlisted in the Israel Prison Service and was a security guard in Nablus. He rose to the rank of first prison guard in March 1985. In January 1989 he received the rank of lieutenant colonel, and in January 1991 he rose to the rank of major sergeant. In the IPS, Gazi was found to be a responsible, dedicated and professional paramedic, motivated and motivated to advance, and served in a number of prisons in the north as a medic, among them: Methoda and Damon. On 4 May 2008, Rav-Gazi, as head of the clinic in Tzalmon, went out to bring medicine to the prisoners. On his way back to the unit, near Kfar Tavor, he was killed in a car accident. Forty-six years old. He left a wife and four children.
