Aaron, Kalman

Son of Zvi and Hannah. He was born on April 23, 1913, in the city of Palatchen, Romania. He studied until he finished seven grades of elementary school there and then moved to work as a carpenter. At the age of conscription he was called to serve in the army and served for nine years. During the Second World War and persecution of the Jews, he suffered great suffering and faced many dangers, but always with courage and confidence. At the end of the war he returned home, married a wife, and after his firstborn son was born, he began to make every effort to immigrate to Israel. The entire family arrived in Israel a few days after the declaration of the State of Israel in the midst of the War of Independence. He was then called to serve in the homeland and willingly went out to do his duty. With the outbreak of the Sinai Campaign, he was once again called the Israeli system. On the 5th of Marcheshvan 5727 (November 4, 1956) he died and was put to rest at the military cemetery in Haifa.
