Aaron, Isaac

Son of Moshe and Tzila, may they rest in peace. He was born on the 3rd of Adar 5702 (March 2, 1950) in Rishon Letzion, as the eldest son of a family from Romania. His childhood was spent in the East neighborhood of Rishon Letzion. After a while, the family moved to the center of the city, but Yitzhak’s contacts with his friends continued until his death. Yitzhak attended the Remez School in Rishon Letzion. More than in his academic studies, he was prominent in his physical abilities and was very active in sports. Before graduating from elementary school, he joined the local Scouts’ Union, which aroused his desire for volunteerism in the public interest. Yitzhak entered the Amal vocational school in Rehovot and specialized in retraining. In his last year at school he helped support the family, while the hours were devoted to work and the evening hours to study. During this period, he was one of the volunteers of Maccabi Fire in Rishon Letzion, and his activities were highly appreciated. He also volunteered for Magen David Adom, where he underwent courses and was given the opportunity to serve as a midwife for two women in the ambulance. Yitzhak’s interests were many and varied. He participated in various activities, such as: sports, folk dancing, hiking, etc. The boy, with his big hair and brown eyes, somehow closed and modest, was fond of many friends who could appreciate his kindness and natural intelligence. Yitzhak’s life took a turn when he decided, together with two friends, to go to Kibbutz Hagoshrim in the north and get involved in it. Where he was adopted by one of the families with whom he had close ties. His absorption in the kibbutz, both professionally and socially, was successful. But at the age of 17 and a half, in early November 1967, he enlisted in the army and volunteered for the paratroopers. After a basic training course, he underwent a brigade commander’s course and was decorated with the wings of the parachutist, and a childhood illness, which gave its mark in old age, delayed his military career, Was transferred to a driving course, and one of the paratroopers in the paratroopers was brought to the scene. From now on, Yitzhak underwent many pleasant and dangerous experiences. In spite of his desire to continue his studies, Yitzhak, who always wanted to live independently, decided to establish an agricultural farm in Kfar Shmuel in the Ayalon area. He became a close and active member of the moshav, who invested great energy and love in the agricultural crops, and his friends in the moshav recognized his qualities and drew him to public service, and he had two daughters – Yaffa and Ilanit – and Yitzhak lived a Simcha and fulfilling life. He moved with his brigade to the West Bank of the canal, to the Ismailia region and participated in the Battle of Serfaum. This place was dug up with his friends until his retreat in February 1978. The war, in which many of his close friends fell, left a deep scar in his soul, which he had frozen over time, in his work and devoted care of his home and his family. Were caught when he was summoned to active duty in mid-November 1975. An airplane accident took his life in the course of his duty on 25 November 1975. He was brought to eternal rest in the military section of the cemetery in Rishon Letzion. He left behind a wife, two daughters and a brother. A memorial was erected in Kfar Shmuel.
