In addition, he developed his hobbies, tennis and computers. Dmitry, or Dima, immigrated to Israel with his family in August 1993 and settled in Rehovot. After completing his Hebrew studies at the Ulpan, he completed his preparatory studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and was accepted to the Faculty of Mathematics, but decided to continue his service in the Israel Defense Forces and to postpone his studies. . After a certain period of time he was absorbed in the position he filled throughout his service – the person responsible for the computer network at the base of the equipment at Tel Hashomer. “Dmitri played his base in a loyal manner and carried out all his activities with great diligence, unremittingly, with extraordinary initiative and resourcefulness,” said his commander, “Dmitri was a good thing, an integral part of a process that went through a computer equipment center. He was twenty years old when he fell. He was laid to rest in the Rehovot military cemetery. Survived by his parents and sister.
