Zur, Danny


Son of Yitzhak and Rozhka. Born on 23 April 1936 in Tel Aviv, he studied at the “Children’s House” in Rehavia, Jerusalem, continued at the Beit Hakerem High School and completed his studies at the Ironi Aleph High School in Tel Aviv. A member of the “Hashomer Hatzair” movement and a member of the “Hashomer Hatzair” movement, he joined the Nahal movement and joined the group in Nir-Oz, which was established between Nirim And protector. Upon the outbreak of the Sinai Campaign, he went to battle and on the 27th of Mershvan 5710 (October 31, 1956) he fell in the Mitla Pass. He was buried in the Military Cemetery of the Emergency Army in Shelah and on the 12th of Mershvan 5718 (6.11.1957) he was taken to the eternal rest of the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. A book in his memory was issued by Kibbutz Magen. In Uri Milstein’s book “Wars of the Paratroopers” his memory was raised.
