Zilberberg, Avraham (“Avi”, “Abrashik”)


Son of Shlomo and Miriam. He was born on January 1, 1943 in Russia. He was three when he and his parents arrived in Israel. The family settled in Ra’anana and the father was considered among the veteran construction workers in the colony. Avraham graduated from the “Amal” school, where he studied the framework profession and attained the rank of excellent professional. In his youth he also devoted himself to sports. He loved life and knew how to treat people with whom he would come. He was cheerful by nature and always “swallowed up evil” and did not let anyone else feel it. He was very sociable and used to help each of his friends and friends – and for everything and because of all his good qualities, everyone loved him. Was drafted into the IDF in November 1960. After his release, he married a wife and prepared to build a home in Israel but was not rewarded for having fallen in the battles of the Six-Day War, He was buried in the military cemetery in Bari, and was later transferred to the eternal cemetery in Ra’anana. A page was dedicated to his memory in the Raanana Municipal Council.
