Zamsky, Isaiah (Shaike)


Son of Naomi and Tanchum, was born on November 28, 1911 in Rishon Letzion, where he graduated from a high school and a high school in Belgium and was forced to leave school. He was active in defending the place during the 1929 riots and since then he continued to work in the Hagana. He was a member of the Hagana’s local headquarters and a light weapons instructor in 1933. He worked very hard to defend the place during the events of 1936-1939, he moved away from power and had a greater influence on his good friends, and so did his corporal in the British army Where he volunteered during the Second World War (1940-1946), and was a member of the local bureau of the B’nai Brith Order, and when the Arab attacks began he was appointed commander of an area in the eastern part of the colony and managed to organize and operate the residents of the area , Who obeyed him with affection and understanding.After the Declaration of Independence, when the Egyptian enemy threw its first bombs on Rishon Lezion, Who helped the victims and was also injured and fell on the 3rd of Iyar 5708 (June 3, 1948), was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Rishon Letzion.
