Yifrach, Isaac

Son of Esther and Elijah. He was born on 8 June 1957 in Kiryat Gat, where he studied at the elementary school in his hometown and continued his studies at a high school yeshiva in Jerusalem, where he volunteered to help the members of the family who called him “the Simcha and Simcha child.” In early May 1975 he completed his studies and enlisted in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Yitzhak underwent basic training and was then trained as a liaison and assigned to his unit. Was loyal to his position, and carried out with extraordinary dedication and responsibility all that was imposed upon him. At the end of his service in the IDF, he began working as a bookkeeper at the Journalists’ Association, and later became Brittoria’s wife and in 1980, their daughter Meital was born. On Sunday 29.5.1987 he fell during his service. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Kiryat Gat. Survived by a wife, daughter, parents, four brothers and five sisters. Two years ago, I had to choose a liaison sergeant for a very responsible position in the unit, and I appointed Yitzhak without hesitation, and in the last training he did his best in his new position. It was very typical of Yitzhak to deal with his problems alone, without having to share his friends. ” His friends and commanders in the unit are mourning and standing at attention in his memory. To commemorate his memory, his family established a synagogue named after “Ohel Yitzchak”.
