Yhasis, Kochba (‘Wei’)


Daughter of Aaron and Ada. She was born on the 28th of Adar 5719 (26.2.1959) in Beit Shemesh. She studied at the Ein Karem Elementary School in Jerusalem and continued her studies at the Sheiber High School in Beit Shemesh and in the Zionist camp in Jerusalem, a very quiet girl who never made demands and was always Simcha, In March 1977, Kochva was drafted into the IDF and was assigned to the Air Force after basic training. She completed her dental training course, and after finishing, she was employed by profession. On the 20th of Adar 5739 (20.3.1979) she fell during her service. Was brought to rest in the cemetery in Beit Shemesh. Survived by her parents, brothers and sisters. “Kochba was the oldest of the assistants and the best of them,” her commander wrote in a letter of condolence to the family. “She did her job to the satisfaction of her commanders and was loved by her friends and friends.”
