When he went to Kibbutz Na’an, he spent two years there in various farm jobs, dedicating his free time to studies and security matters and training in courses. At the request of his parents, he returned to Tiberias, began working in the weaving factory “Eagle” and immediately became popular with his modest behavior and his ability to grasp his work. At the same time, he continued his training activities on behalf of the Haganah and also served as a naval instructor. As a guide he took part in the capture of Birya. In the course of the conquest of Tiberias, he participated in the transfer of ammunition and food through the Sea of ​Galilee to positions in the Old City, and on May 15, 1948, he served as deputy commander of battles in the Valley The battalion moved to the Negev, and in the difficult conditions without shelter, abandoned to a landslide, gave spiritual support to its students on the 3rd of Tevet 5709 (3.1.1949).
