Wohlberg, Nathan


Born in 1917 in St. Petersburg, Russia, he died at the age of two and died at the age of two, and he was transferred to his grandparents’ home. , In the city of Marimpol, Lithuania, where he found love and warmth, and his uncle and aunt adopted him and treated him as if he were their son. During the Second World War he accepted the call of the institutions in Palestine, enlisted in the British Army and served in Egypt until the end of the war. After the victory he returned to Israel and worked at Keren Hayesod. Throughout his years in Israel, Natan kept in touch with his uncle and aunt who immigrated to Israel and settled in Binyamina. During the War of Independence he joined the IDF on 14 February 1949. He died during his service and was put to rest in the military cemetery at Nahalat Yitzhak, and his colleagues at Keren Hayesod and Dudu Shmaryahu Jablonski accompanied him on his last journey.
