Wise, Elijah


Eliahu (Eli, Kadouri), son of Shafika and Yosef, was born on 11.11.1952 in Hadera. He studied at the Habonim elementary school in Ramot Remez and later continued his studies at the Hebrew Reali School in Haifa. Eliyahu was a good student and loved by his teachers and friends. He excelled in excellent physical fitness, and was diligent in nurturing him more and more, so he worked out and traveled around the country. He loved to sing and loved painting very much, and was preparing to study at the Bezalel Academy of Art after he was discharged from military service. Elijah was sociable, loving society and loving people. He always had a sense of humor and was cheerful and Simcha. In a letter of condolence to the bereaved family, his commander wrote: “Your son who fell in battle fights with his friends, as he who fights for courage fights with courage and dedication.” His parents donated a memorial plaque to the synagogue in Kiryat Sprinzak in Haifa; The “First Pioneers” battalion of the Golani Brigade published a pamphlet called “No Words Speak of Death” in memory of the fallen soldiers, and Eliyahu among them.
