Weissman (Amir), Carmi

Son of Tela and Michael, Carmi was born on May 29, 1927 in Bucharest, the capital of Romania. Carmi immigrated to Israel with his parents in 1940. At the beginning of the battles of the War of Independence, Karmi fell in an attack on the Egyptian strongholds between Kochba and Hulikat on July 18, 1948. He was buried in Ruchama. On the 26th of Tammuz (26.6.1950) he was put to rest at the military cemetery in the village of Warburg.
