Weinberger, Yigal


Yigal ben of Zvi and Shoshana. Born on the 20th of Av, August 19th, 1954 in Ramat Gan. Yigal was very friendly and many friends gathered around him and they appreciated him. Yigal had a rare combination of leadership skills and a brilliant analytical mind and a sensitivity for art and music. Yigal fulfilled his role as a pilot in the IDF with devotion and love. He was a high level as a pilot and officer.” On the 6th of Tishrei 5739 (October 7, 1978) he was in a road accident at the Heztzin River in the Judean Desert Yigal was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul, leaving behind his parents and two brothers. In a letter to the bereaved family: “For us, Yigal was and remains one of the best, even when he is no longer with us.”
