Son of Alexander and Clara. Was born on 23.1.1952 in Haifa. He studied at the Mefalsim School in Kiryat Yam and completed high school at the Rodman School in Kiryat Yam, with the aim of mechanical frameworks. Avigdor, the only son of parents who suffered all the hardships of the Second World War, including concentration camps, ghettos and wandering on the roads, was very attached to his parents and worried about their situation. During his service he was also given many responsibilities, such as responsibility for warehouse-line. At the end of his military service, Avigdor was called up for active reserve duty. After his discharge from the IDF, Avigdor began to work as a technical warehouse technician at the Elbit factory in Kiryat Arba, and two years after his discharge from the IDF, Avigdor returned to the regular army and served for seven more months. After his discharge from the army, Avigdor continued to serve as part of the IDF reserve system, and on the 4th of Shevat 5716 (January 4, 1976), Avigdor fell in the line of duty, after being wounded three weeks earlier during reserve service. He was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Haifa. Survived by his parents.
