Vidberg, Pinchas (“Foxy”)


Son of David and Mina. He was born on May 17, 1953, in Nes Tziona, until his ninth year, living with his family in the “Farm of Mordechai”, which is the experimental farm of the Agricultural Research Station near Nes Tziona and in the dairy farm near the Volcani Institute in Beit Dagan. He was a close associate of the farm, and together with his older brother cultivated a vegetable and flower garden near their home, where he studied at the Be’eri Elementary School and then graduated with honors from the Carry High School in Rishon Letzion. He was an active member of the Hanoar Haoved Vehalomed movement, loved to travel and knew every corner of the country. He loved music, swore the flute, and was an excellent athlete and swimmer. He was always cheerful, optimistic and with a wonderful sense of humor. He never gave up and in every situation he looked for the Yaffa and the good. Moro, David Rotenberg (who fell in the Yom Kippur War) wrote about him: “A lively, cheerful, smiling boy who always has something to say with permission or without the teacher’s permission. “Pinchas joined the IDF in mid-August 1971 and volunteered to serve in the Armored Corps, and during his service he was a disciplined soldier and fulfilled his duties without hesitation. During his last vacation he spoke with his parents about the possibility of continuing his studies after he was discharged from military service On Tuesday, November 9, 1972, Pinchas the line of duty. He was buried at the cemetery in Rishon Lezion old. After falling published his parents and his memory booklet.
