He was a good soldier, responsible and devoted to his job, loved by his commanders, took care of his subordinates and accepted his friends. After completing his army service, he studied at Tel Aviv University in the Faculty of Literature. When the Yom Kippur War broke out he was drafted and sent with his unit to the front in Sinai. On October 16, 1973, Nadav fell in one of the battles in the central sector, when our forces broke into the West Bank of the Suez Canal, and his unit began a diversion near the Chinese Farm and when he went up to one of the positions to destroy the enemy tanks There, a missile hit his tank and he was killed on the spot and was brought to eternal rest in the Kiryat Shaul cemetery, leaving behind a father and mother, who was promoted to the rank of First Sergeant. Your son showed courage, resourcefulness and cold-bloodedness, fighting against enemy tanks and infantry regiments, and thus secured the battalion’s division.
