He was a gentle-loving, quiet, devoted and loved boy to all those around him, and he was always gentle and always knew how to associate affectionately with all those who came into contact with him. Of his prominence – and yet he found his place in society by virtue of his generosity and comfort, his easy temperament and his other virtues. The day before, a reporter wrote home saying, “In the meantime, do not worry about you. Your son represents the IDF with dignity “- On the 17th of Sivan 5729 (June 15, 1967) he fell in the upper customs house above the Bnot Ya’aqov Bridge when a munitions bunker exploded and was buried in a mass grave in the military cemetery in Nahariya.
