Tuina, Yechezkel

Tuina, Yechezkel

Son of Eliyahu and Victoria. Born in 1950 in Baghdad, capital of Iraq. The family immigrated to Israel when he was three months old. He grew up in Nes Tziona. He worked in a printing house in Tel Aviv, and helped his father. He was a devoted friend, and gave his service as a scout. He was loved by all his friends in service. While he was with the family on his last Saturday, eating the Sabbath meal, he got up to call his friends, because his conscience did not give him peace. He was a protector, and possibly his friends needed him. Then he left the house, and hurried to the northern border, where he never returned. This was on the 21st of Shvat, February 9, 1969, when they rode over a mine. He was laid to rest in the cemetery in Nes Tziona.
