Spaz, Dan
Ben Marguerite and Amnon Silvan. Born in Netanya on 19.9.1977, as one of a trio of boys, a younger brother of Galia and Sharon and a twin brother of Nir and Ron, Dan grew up in Netanya and began his studies at the David Ben Gurion elementary school, As an intelligent and high-potential child, but with “thorns in his ass.” Dan has been a leading social leader and leader since childhood, and was a gifted handball player and captain of the national school team, Ort Leibowitz “and a month after completing his studies, on August 5, 1996, enlisted in the IDF, the Armored Corps. In January 1998, Dan completed a course for maintenance officers and in 1999-2002 he served as a company commander in the 906 Battalion and as a brigade logistics officer in the “HaBazka” brigade, in the “Idan” division of the Central Command. An officer who had no army position was not “too big” and his subordinates told him that he demanded a lot but was always fair and found an attentive ear in him.In 2002-2004 Dan studied for a degree in industrial engineering and management at the Ariel College of Logistics and was always surrounded by his many friends. Was the child with the eternal smile and the rolling laugh that accompanied his many stories from his experiences in school, in the army and with friends. In his new role as an officer in the reserve maintenance on M Tevet Law (12/19/2004), Major Dan Lespezi fell in the line of duty when he was twenty-seven. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Netanya. Survived by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
