Solomon, Rina

Daughter of Ram and Blina. She was born on November 4, 1950 in Tel Aviv. She studied at the “Tel Hai” school, and at the same time was a member of the Scouts movement. After graduating from elementary school, she studied at the Hebrew Gymnasia Herzliya and was active in the Gadna, where she loved painting and reading in her spare time, and she loved to swim. She traveled abroad for a long period of time, and these trips expanded her horizons and shaped her character. Rina was recruited to the IDF at the end of July 1968. She excelled in her work as an instructor in the military boarding school at the Herzliya high school. She died in the course of her duties on 14 Shvat (20.1.1970). She was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
