Silberman, Naftali


Son of Eliyahu and Sarah. He was born on June 5, 1929 in the city of Sarniki, Poland. When he was twelve years old, in the snow of Siberia, he was the only caregiver for his mother and his sisters, but he overcame the hardships and wished for the day of his immigration to Eretz Israel, and finally joined the Haganah in 1949. He was a member of Gordonia and joined the Haganah. , Gave his service out of an officers’ course and then served in the permanent army. He was even sent abroad for an internship. He participated in the Sinai Campaign and fell in the midst of Abu-Agila on the 28th of Mishvan 5717 (2 November 1956). He was buried at the Shiloah Emergency Cemetery, but on the 25th of Tishrei 5718 (October 23, 1957) he was taken to rest – They are in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem. On the day they fell they were promoted to captain.
