Shoshani, Doron Dori


The eldest son of Malka and Abraham. Born on July 20, 1961 in Rehovot, Doron began studying at an elementary school in Be’er Yaakov, continued to study at the Ma’anit elementary school in Ramle and at a high school yeshiva in a youth center in Jerusalem, He spent his school holidays dedicated to helping his family, and during his service he used to help his father work in the family orchard, and was drafted into the IDF in early February 1980. He was a professional officer, diligent and highly motivated, and when the Peace for the Galilee war broke out, Doron immigrated with his unit On June 17, 1982, Lieutenant Colonel Doron was killed in a battle in Lebanon during Operation Peace for the Galilee. He was laid to rest in the military section of the cemetery in Beer-Yaakov. After his fall, he was promoted to lieutenant. He left parents, three brothers and a sister.
