Shmueli, enlightened

Shmueli, enlightened

The youngest son of Ofra and Shlomo. He was born on Saturday night, banned for Passover, or on April 9, 1988 in Herzliya. Brother to Liran and Mirit. Naor grew up in Herzliya, in a private home with a garden and trees, and treated them with love and devotion. He was educated at the national religious education institutions in Herzliya – in the “Hasiah” kindergarten, in the “Miriam” kindergarten and in the “Omer” kindergarten, and at the “Bar Ilan” religious elementary school. He continued his studies in junior high and high school at the Bnei Akiva Yeshiva in Ra’anana. During this period he was active in the “Bnei Akiva” youth movement – the Herzliya Center branch, as a member of the Elad tribe. Over the years, Naor acquired many friends and lovers who knew his good qualities and his pleasant manner. In the class he used to sit next to the students who had difficulty in their studies in order to help them, and this was done in a modest and dedicated manner. In his youth, he volunteered at the Jewish House in Herzliya. At an early age, Naor discovered a talent for drumming, and at the age of nine began to learn to play drums in an orderly fashion. Later, he and his friends established a rock band called Utopia, composed and composed songs, and appeared before an audience. Along with the hobby of playing, Naor nurtured his love for sport. He played basketball at the Municipal Sportek and cycled with his friends. He did not neglect the computer either, and would devote time to virtual games. Another talent Neur was blessed with was cooking and baking. The dishes and desserts he produced were amazing in their beauty and taste, and were immortalized in the photographs left in his estate. Naor loved the Land of Israel and respected it with all his heart. This love was realized in countless field trips in Dad’s jeep, and “plowed” the country lengthwise and wide. He was happy to explore the homeland, feel its land and enjoy its landscapes. Before each trip, Naor skillfully and skillfully programmed the GPS device at the designated route points on which the trip was based. On the walks, Naor served as a navigator, as a guide, and, if necessary, as an extruder, often digging ten clods of earth, stones, and mud under a stuck tire. When he replaced his father at the wheel, Naor managed to pass through difficult obstacles. On one of the trips he drove Maaleh Uzi himself, only two weeks after receiving his driver’s license (in the first test of course …). Naor’s camera was a must-have equipment wherever he went, and through it he documented every step of the journey, and the rest of the activities he took part in. His talent and love for photography have produced wonderful landscapes of landscapes, plants and animals from different parts of the country. After graduating from high school (September 2006), Naor chose to join the hesder yeshiva and began studying in Akko at the Northern Ruach hesder yeshiva, which aims to strengthen the Jewish community in the city, Naor volunteered to help distribute food to the families, and in the early hours of the morning he was the first to open the gates of the synagogue. In Acre and in Herzliya On March 25, 2008, Naor enlisted in the Combat Engineering Corps and joined the 605 Battalion, He was very fond of his friends and commanders, and the latter said that Naor was a professional fighter and that he was successful in completing the training course, which he had successfully completed. “Naor was a revered figure in the department and volunteered for every mission and activity, and he was described as a wise, gentle person with a high personal level whose values, including the love of man and the country, guided him in everything he did.” Naor fell in the line of duty on the day21 Av, 5768 (August 22, 2008), and he is twenty-four months old. He was laid to rest in the Herzliya military cemetery. Survived by parents, brother and sister. In the Bnei Akiva youth movement’s newsletter in Herzliya, Naor’s friends wrote in his memory: “When a person dies, there are many ways to respond to that, with a loud and bitter cry, you can wail, you can cry without words, You can not understand how a friend and a good person like you suddenly went to us, and we look at each other and ask, “What? Naor is no longer with us ?! Can you be? “Naor, it will take us a long time to digest what happened here, but be sure that everything you taught us in your life – Derech Eretz, devotion to Torah, kindness, unlimited charm and endless love. You were more than a brother, more than a friend, you were everything that a person aspires to be and does not succeed Your measurements were a thing to be proud of, And you did not do that because you were humble, you were amazingly talented, and you were always careful not to miss anyone’s birthday, no words to express our sorrow for not being there We’re glad you went to a better place, you must be as sad and worried as ever, thank you for all the years you taught us so much about life, we will always be exemplary and always yearn for you. You know that everything is directed from above, and God took the best of it. Time. You will be happy in the new world you are in, and we will try to accept your good qualities. There will always be a dear brother in our hearts. We will never forget you. the friends. In memory of Naor, a poem was published on the Internet. The song was written by Shira Bashan, a friend of Naor: The enlightened tears fall from the head as if the sticks were beating on the drum I would take them all to the heart If there was a place free from the pain crying Crying only to keep the silence Tearing apart, Out of a lie that you were next to me smiling in the order between drums and rescues, in a quiet enveloping, the light is attractive, it sweeps, it ishes and it fades away. I want to fight, groan, slip away! God! God Almighty! How always darkness comes after the greatest light.
