Sheffer, Avior

Son of Penina and Michael Strumpf. Born in Petach Tikva on the 5th of Av, August 3, 1973. He joined the IDF on 1November 17, 1991. He served in the Air Force, completed a pilot course and continued to serve in the IDF as a pilot and navigator. Avior fell in the line of duty on the 18th of Tishrei, October 6, 2009, after an illness. He was thirty six years old. He was laid to rest in the Misgav cemetery. He was survived by a wife, three children, a sister and a brother.
