Shaul, Tzila


Tzila bat Mordecai and Gila, was born on the 11th of Tamuz, July 10, 1957 in Be’er Sheva. She always aspired to precision and aesthetics, was very successful in her studies. She was a member of the Hashomer Hatzair youth movement. Tzila loved to help everyone around her and instilled a cheerful atmosphere in the house. Tzilla was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in November 1975. After basic training, she was sent to a base in the south of the country, where she first served as a clerk and then as a trainee often staying late in order to finish her work. She was never late in coming to work and her dedication to contribute as best she could. She was loved by her friends. On the 20th of Adar 5736 March 23rd, 1976) Tzilla fell during duty, and was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Be’er Sheva. Survived by her parents and three sisters. After her death, she was raised to the rank of Corporal.
