Shahar Yaakov Kissus


The eldest son of Hadassah and Moshe. He was born on March 31, 1976 in Holon, a brother to Hila, Barak and Lior. He began his studies at the Moshe Sharett elementary school in Holon and continued at the Tzofei Sharon elementary school in Alfei Menashe, where his family relocated. Shahar excelled in his studies and was accepted and loved by all. When Shahar was twelve years old, his mother Hadassah died, and from that day, thanks to his maturity and patience, he became his father’s right-hand man in all matters relating to the organization and management of the house, and to his close friend. He was promoted to the rank of sergeant after his death, and at the age of twenty-one, Shachar was killed, leaving behind a father, a sister and two brothers. All these were for him and much more. Shahar, in the absence of his direct commander, took his place and continued to operate the intelligence department as if nothing had changed.
