Shahar, Avraham

Avraham, son of Yaakov and Ilana Shahar, was born in Tel Aviv on June 20, 1945. In August 1963 and assigned to the Navy. Avraham volunteered for submarine service and was a responsible diver, devoted and punctual. He went to England to join the crew of the submarine “Dakar”, but when the submarine was on its way to the shores of the country, on the sea route between Gibraltar and Haifa, the connection was cut off and never renewed. The boat was lost at sea.This was on the 24th of Tevet 5728 (30.1.1968).
