Sasson, Aaron

Was born in 1919 in Damascus, the capital of Syria, and was sent to study at the prestigious Alliance school, and when he completed his studies, At great risk, secretly transferring Jews from Syria to Palestine illegally, and in the beginning of 1947 immigrated to Israel and lived in Ness Ziona with his wife and infant daughter. On Tuesday, June 10, 1948, he was drafted into the IDF and lost his tracks. He left a wife, daughter, and sister. He was buried in the Nahalat Yitzhak military cemetery.
