Sar, Itzik
Son of Rachel and Moshe. Born in Lithuania, Russia on December 24, 1968, he immigrated to Israel with his family at the age of 4. He grew up in Rehovot and studied at the Smilansky elementary school in Rehovot. He spent his free time reading spying books, watching movies and repairing various instruments. In addition, he participated in various ranges, including the Olympic Range in Herzliya, and received a certificate Before being drafted into the IDF he worked as a mechanic in the garage. Itzik sought to attend a pilot course and successfully passed the tests, but due to severe jaundice, he had to give up his dream. He was drafted into the IDF in July 1987. He served as a combat engineering engineer, and during his service he lost his mother, who was killed in a road accident, and served close to the house as a guide to shooting. He went to live with his girlfriend in a house that belonged to his father, and he wanted to be a shooting instructor or a police sapper, and he also passed tests and finished them successfully. He was admired by his friends, put their needs before his own needs, and himself in second place, nine days before his release, on the 17th of Iyar (05/01/1991), fell in the line of duty. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Rehovot. Left a father, a sister – Frida brother – Jonathan.
