Son of Herman and Golda. He was born on 23.11.1932 in Iasi, Romania. Mandy graduated from elementary and high school and even studied for two years at a university in Romania. Where he also served in the army. He immigrated to Israel in 1962 and worked at Ashdod Port. Mandy, who was a quiet and moderate guy, was loved and loved by all his friends. He would go on reserve duty from time to time, and in his service he would do everything he was assigned accurately and efficiently. Even at the outbreak of the Six-Day War, called to reserve duty, and on the fourth day of its battles, on the 9th of Iyar 5727 (8.6.1967), he boarded a landmine in the area of ​​Kadesh Barnea in Sinai. He left a wife, a boy and a girl. He was buried in the emergency military cemetery in Bari and later transferred to the eternal rest of the cemetery in Ashdod. The booklet “Brigade in the Six Day War” was mentioned. The Israel Ports Authority published a leaflet in his memory and the memory of Lulu Solomon.
