Yitzhak, son of Rovidah and Shalom, was born in Morocco in 1951. He was three years old when the family immigrated to Israel in the year 5706 and settled in Binyamina. He began his studies in a state religious school in the village. When he graduated from elementary school, he decided to study a profession so that he could help support the well-off family. As a member of a religious family, Yitzhak enrolled at the Tachkemoni vocational school and studied for two years in the clerical track, and then moved on to the humanistic trend, thanks to his excellent diligence and perception. He wanted to go to school in Mevo’ot Yam, but because of the financial situation of the family he was prevented from doing so. Like his eldest son, Isaac was of great help to his mother and father, and offered his young brothers and sister help as much as he could. During the period of his studies he was a trainee in the Gadna and was involved in all his activities in the school, where he devoted himself to target shooting and was one of the best scenes in the shooting club in Hadera. He stood by it and was in effect the “father of the family”. Yitzhak was drafted into the IDF in August 1970 and volunteered for the Paratroopers Brigade. In a special recommendation to grant the rank, his commander wrote that Yitzhak was “a good and disciplined soldier, responsible for his job and performing it in the best possible way.” Another commander even noted that Yitzhak was ” An outstanding sergeant in the course of the commanders. ” In early August 1973, Yitzhak was released from regular service and returned to civilian life. For several months he served as a Gadna instructor at the “Reali” school and was active in the Betar football team in Binyamina. His plans were numerous. He was about to marry his fiancée and begin studying at the Gadna Teachers’ Seminary, but the war interrupted these plans, but he did not receive a summons because he had not yet been assigned to reserve duty. He volunteered to serve in a front post and during an exchange of fire with the enemy, was injured and fell on the tenth of Tevet 5737 (10.1.1974), on the anniversary of the death of his father Yitzhak was brought to eternal rest in the house The cemetery in Binyamina left behind a mother and six brothers and sisters, and his older sister son of gave a condolence letter to the family Vela, his commander wrote: “Yitzhak was a good friend of his comrades and an outstanding soldier in his company. Always helped and encouraged soldiers who had a harder time … His character remained and will remain within us, a fighter who served as an example. “His friends, the Gadna commanders, said:” Ronen was the most prominent in terms of his impressive appearance and his orderly appearance. For Ronen, how to serve faithfully and completely the subject of the Gadna, which is not particularly popular with high school students. Ronen was always able to convey the material in a thorough and interesting manner, and indeed in his classes the students’ presence was maximum. During breaks between classes we liked to hear his stories about his parents’ home in Binyamina. He proudly recounted the special atmosphere of his home on the eve of the Sabbath and the holidays and waited eagerly for the sixth day, in order to be in the bosom of his family. We bow our heads in his memory. His memory will never be used from us. “
