Roman, Nahum
Son of Naftali and Pnina. Born on May 8, 1946 in Pardes Hanna, he completed his studies at the Ehrlich Elementary School in Tiberias and later graduated from the “Galil” high school there. 1964 and served in the Air Force until he attained the rank of Second Lieutenant. He fell during his duty on 15 Kislev 5727 (28.11.1966) and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. In the garden of Kfar Shmaryahu, a monument was erected in the name of Nahum and another two sons who fell. There was also a synagogue called the “Hall of the Boys” named after the three. A donation was made to plant trees in the Nachum Forest.
